Sun, Rain Work and some frozen moments
Sun, Rain Work and some Frozen Moments...
The downpour hid the sleeping sun a few hours ago,
I heard the raindrops rustle through the trees outside,
Solitude at my core and the scent of the sky frothing my senses I love.
Alone, I still love, the sunshine takes a peek slowly
and shyly hiding the clouds to tease the Winter.
It's a beautifully quiet evening,
one of the kind that happens so rarely
the wind and the rain, sings life in my soul
dampness swirling with all its might dispelled by
the sunlight all without a fight slowly they meet
they smile they love
Ah, now I can see the fleeting twilight dancing life
wafted in a timeless mist together we weave
beautiful dreams

and she looks like a beauty too! stuuner and a thinker?? one of the rare ones...! thanks kuan! :)
Never fear, I'm not as bad as it sounds on the blog--that was actually in response to a whole bunch of complaining I've been listening to lately and I had to get it out of my system. :-P But yes... if I could find a good yoga class that actually fit into my schedule with non-smelly, non-weird hippies in my area, I would probably look into it. :)
eva...you need to twist and stretch out that back of yours...lol
Thank you magik...
sharad...I like her style definitely!
so, i finally found time to visit all these people here, including neers, kuan... kudos to you for creating a compilation... have been thinkin of getting one of these blog things for myself. only, i do not know, how and what would i say?
Hello Kuan Gung,
First, sorry for my bad English :) I love that language and would like to improve it but this is not easy, so I won't write a long message...just wanted to say thank you for your comments on my blog. I was pleased with them.
Yes it would be a wonderful world if everyone thought like Yehudi Menuhin. I like his quote (but this is not the only one, there are many many quotes I like). As for the lines about "love", I find them beautiful and funny but as far as I'm concerned, I don't hate love (maybe because I'm happilly married :)). And about Kipling, I don't really understand why you wrote "it's a habit that began in the 3rd. century"...
My preference, is Longfelllow...as for the third century, well leave that sit.. ;)
sharad...let me know when you begin...thank you
heyy kuan, my preference too is Longfellow... the way his "Birds of Passage" flows is quite extraordinary!! thank you once again for those kind words on my humble attempts. thanks to magik and sharad too!
Kuan, i found this short stories site: http://pitwit.com and have tried to submit a couple of my writings there, though i must admit, i lack teh panache for story telling, the way some of those folks have it on the site there.
cheers!
part one? Not sure what you're talking about... are you asking for more question & answer??
neers...you have a great pen...I did visit there and again the images come through great...again the lucid feel came through. I could drift away forever on a train reading a book of your stuff. Thank you
