This made me love my dog Max even more today, and remember Tanner who has been gone 4 years now after loving our family for 14 wonderful years.Great poem, thanks for sharing!!!

The last 8 lines are not part of my poem.
Hi, I have been trying to get you to remove the last 8 lines which do not belong to my poem. Whoever composed them would not be pleased either that you attached them to my poem, I'm sure. Other sites have picked up on the incorrect publication and on it goes -- so please fix.
